The design inspiration for Luck Art Hotel comes from the layers on the mountains surrounding Dalian. These layers have left visual traces in the city, creating a poetic age with their ups and downs. Unlike traditional hotels that often exude excessive enthusiasm and ostentation, Luck Art Hotel aims to provide guests with a genuine sense of tranquility. The professional lighting design brings even withered branches to life, allowing them to sway gracefully.
One of the unique features of Luck Art Hotel is its location in a semi-enclosed courtyard beside the main road. The integration of the outdoor environment creates a chic and rich atmosphere, immersing guests in a serene and peaceful ambiance. Inside, the interior space is dominated by white color, accentuated by multiple black lines in each interface, highlighting the profile of the space.
The hotel has received excellent feedback from guests who have experienced its unique charm. It has been praised as the Peach Blossom Garden in the busy city, offering a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle.
The realization of Luck Art Hotel involved the use of high-quality materials such as travertine, white marble, stainless steel, and high-end plasters. These materials contribute to the hotel's luxurious and high-end aesthetic.
With a project area of 1000 square meters, Luck Art Hotel offers different circulation areas for check-in, catering to the needs of guests in various areas. This thoughtful design ensures a seamless and efficient experience for all visitors.
The design team behind Luck Art Hotel includes Jian Zhang as the main creative designer, with participation from Huang Yufeng Shao Yifan. Han Liang was responsible for the lighting design, while Liu Changli captured the project's stunning photography.
The interaction between the design and its users is a key aspect of Luck Art Hotel. The integration of the user's visual sense of space and material allows for a harmonious interaction between people and the environment.
The project started in March 2018 and was completed in August 2018, both in Dalian. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to achieve the poeticization of the space. The elements of water, mountain, and road are intertwined, creating a visual impact and communication between materials and symbols. Parametric design and other innovative design methods were applied to achieve a harmonious and visually stunning result.
One of the challenges faced during the design process was reconciling the surrounding environment with the hotel's space. Luck Art Hotel was positioned to hide from the city while maintaining its exquisite nature. The use of bamboo elements in the external environment reflects the Taoist theory of "No better living without bamboo," symbolizing isolation and harmony with the world.
Luck Art Hotel has received the prestigious A' Design Award in 2019, specifically the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award recognizes the hotel's well-designed, practical, and innovative nature, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The hotel's design integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its guests, contributing to a better world.
Experience the captivating charm and tranquility of Luck Art Hotel, where art, design, and innovation come together to create a truly unique and memorable stay.
